A Predictable Reaction

We have a bizarre bit of prostitution news this morning, courtesy of the Philadelphia Daily News. It seems that students at Cheyney University are all atwitter following the arrest of a prostitute by university police, who say that she was working at least two of the dorms on campus. The woman, age 36, told officers that she is HIV-positive after she was taken into custody. Concerned students wasted no time printing and passing out fliers to spread the gossip news.

Yes, that’s right… male college underclassmen were paying a woman, who is bordering on middle age, for sex. Female students, quite predictably, are outraged.

The girl, a resident of King Hall, said all the students in her dorm are taking advantage of the free testing.

“Safe sex is always the best sex,” the female student added. “I feel bad for everybody else though, especially for the females on campus with boyfriends who may have been creeping around – there is no way for them to know.”

Yep, that’s how it goes. There are hundreds or maybe even thousands of male students… one hooker gets busted… and everybody with a penis is declared guilty until proven innocent. How very, very… female.
